Inequalities Video Lesson

This week both 7th Grade Math & Pre Algebra began their first projects.

In Math we talked about tables & graphs, and converting fractions to decimals/percents.  We are applying these concepts to our first project about cell phones. This project will be completed by next week, so check back for  pictures of our final project!

Pre Algebra completed their project about Order of Operations called "Four Fours".  The objective of this activity is to use their knowledge of the order of operations and a combination of four fours (and various operations) to create all the numbers from 1 to 40. The class did great! Here are the final products.

What a great way to start off the year!

This week we talked about how to be successful in middle school, learned about our math class, made quarter one goals, and ended the week learning about problem solving strategies and creating posters using these.

Fox Middle School is dedicated to helping students succeed!  One way is to offer an online resource for parents and students providing daily assingnments, projects & project guidelines, announcements, videos, games, and information directly connected to our math curriculum.

My hope is that this website will help reinforce what they are learning in class which will help to increase their math confidence and make them better math learners.
